Who We Are
Our Story
Founded in 2024, Bridging the Gap Children and Youth Services Inc. has been dedicated to providing compassionate care for children and youth in out of home care settings. Our team of experienced professionals understand the unique needs of children and youth in care and work tirelessly to ensure that each child and youth receives the support and resources they need to thrive.
Foster Care Services
Philosophy of Care
1. We believe in the value of normalizing individual experiences and building in supports that bridge the current gaps for individuals who are struggling with emotional and behavioural regulation to aid in their growth towards healthy personal development.
2. We firmly believe in a continuity of care and applicable services to support children, youth, and adults through their self-discovery journey.
3. The principle of flexible, individualized, and specialized programming using a strength-based approach inspires our Philosophy of Care and treatment.
4. We believe that the use of a person-centered approach in joint decision-making, family involvement and personal counselling facilitates an environment of growth and change so that individual’s feel empowered to have their voices heard.
5. We believe in the clinical value of expertise both in direct service provision and consultation.
